Software Assurance

The customer is entitled to all future upgrades and updates of the product during the term of the Software-Assurance. Software Assurance must be purchased per license.

Scope of Services

• Fast access to all security patches.
• Access to product improvements and new product features.
• Always up to date when interpreting connection data.
• Compatibility with current and future operating systems.
• Use of the software without a USB dongle (e.g. with VMware).

Deployment

• Notification about new versions is sent via email.
• Changes of the recipient email address at: https://www.aurenz.de/en/software-assurance.html
• In the event of an extension, no goods will be shipped.

Term and Notice Period

• Minimum term: 1 year.
• License extension is calculated proportionately to the remaining term.
• Automatic renewal: 1 additional year.
• Notice period: 3 months to the end of the maintenance period.

Invoicing

Always takes place at the beginning of the current term or by arrangement for longer terms.

Please note: without valid Software Assurance, a license protection USB dongle connected to the aurenz system is required. (One-time usage fee/loan: € 150.00 net)
