To license

AlwinPro UC-Edition Licensing is based on the number of extensions that are delivered by the PBX within the call data records. In terms of licensing, both the physical and the virtual extensions (subscribers) must be taken into account.
By default, the aurenz software is delivered as an activation license plus software assurance. This enables use in a virtual environment.
Subscriber and product extensions are only possible under the current release.

UC-Analytics "Flex"

With the Flex license, only the users who are to be evaluated are licensed, regardless of the total number of extensions in the system. The users to be evaluated are explicitly specified via the program interface (as subscribers in the organizational chart).

Delivery

Activation code - license The delivery takes place with a license key. This is delivered as PDF by e-mail. There will be no further shipping. With the license key you receive all data required for the installation.
Upgrades and extensions The delivery will be an e-mail including a licence key. PDF per mail. There will be no other delivery. All data required for the installation will be received with the licence key.
USB dongle - license One-time usage fee for copy protection dongle USB (loan). The delivery includes the licence key document and the copy protection dongle. It is usually delivered within 4-6 working days by a shipping company.
Chip card reader Delivery usually takes place within 6 working days, after receiving a written order confirmation.
Chip cards The appropriate chip cards can be purchased as an option for our chip card readers. The print data and the desired number ranges (6-digit number without a leading zero) must be supplied by you when you place the order. After receipt of all data, the delivery usually takes 6-8 weeks.
!!!Current information: Depending on our supplier, we cannot guarantee delivery times due to the current delivery bottlenecks on the world market!!!
USB exchange delivery If a replacement delivery of the dongle is necessary outside the legal warranty or if an exchange of an activation code licence to dongle is to take place, this can be obtained for a one-time usage fee (loan) of 150,-- Euro.
Changing from USB-Dongle to activation code (virtualisation) A change from USB dongle to activation code can be made holding a valid SW-Assurance. Ensure to return the USB dongle to aurenz (aurenz GmbH, Hans-Böckler-Str. 29, 73230 Kirchheim unter Teck) within ten day after the change has been taken place. The partner must ensure that the dongle is sent properly packed and arrives undamaged.

Services

Requirement Prerequisite for providing the services is an existing, current version. Download area. The hardware must be supplied by the end customer or partner. Download minimum requirements.

Remote service After placing an official order, appointments can be made. Expect a waiting period of three weeks.
On-site service Appointments for on-site service can be made after an official order has been placed. Expect a waiting period of six weeks. Cancellation costs may occur when cancelling with shorter notice than 14 days.
Network carrier The delivery time is usually 14 days after receiving all required information. Please be sure to include the required network carrier data and project number.

Software assurance

Scope of services, extension, delivery During the service period, the notification addresses will be used for information regarding future features, important upgrades, updates and download links. For license extensions during the contract time, the price must be adjusted accordingly. The use of an activation code license, in a virtual environment, is subject to a valid software assurance. Please note that there is no delivery of goods in the case of pure service extensions (follow-up period). Invoices are always issued for the current duration or by agreement in the case of longer contract periods.

Long term assignements

If special project conditions (discounts) are not already granted, you will receive one of the following discounts when concluding longer terms:

  • 3 years and annual advance payment = 3%.
  • 3 years and total advance payment = 6%.
  • 5 years and annual advance payment = 5%.
  • 5 years and total advance payment = 10%.

For licences up to and including 30 extensions, we recommend 3 years of service so that the costs correspond to the organisational effort.

Automatic extension In the standard system, an automatic extension takes place under the previous order number if you do not cancel with a notice period of 3 months to the end of the respective maintenance period. If this is explicitly not desired, please object when ordering. Our order processing then takes this into account when processing the order.
Activation "Follow-up time" As soon as you receive an order confirmation, the renewal is also stored in the system. Please read under "COPY PROTECTION".

Renting Licenses

Scope of services, extension, delivery During the rental period, the notification addresses mentioned will receive an e-mail about the appearance of new upgrades and important updates with a download link and information about the new features. License extensions are taken into account from the following month and calculated on the currently completed term. The period of use corresponds to the commissioned rental period.

Support service

Scope of service and delivery Authorises the end customer to use the aurenz telephone support hotline Tel. +49 7021 73888-33, Monday - Friday 8 am - 17 pm
Contingent BASIS-Service = 5 hours a year
Contingent EASY-Service = 15 hours a year
Automatic extension Generally an automatic extension of the assurance will be generated, if you do not cancel 3 months before the respective maintenance period. If this is not desired, please contradict when ordering. Our support will take this into account when processing the order.

Copy protection

Manual license activation (linked to SW-Assurance) There are two options available for the activating the license:
  • Online license activation
  • Manual license activation
For manual license activation, please contact our technicians at +49 7021/73888-33 or via email: support@aurenz.de. An activation code based on the activation number displayed will be generated. 40 days before the license expires, a license message will inform you about the expiration. If you have confirmed a renewal of the SW-Assurance, please request the required activation code from aurenz support using the activation number generated by the system. The activation period corresponds to the SW-Assurance.
Online license activation (linked to SW-Assurance) There are two options available for the activating the license:
  • Online license activation
  • Manual license activation
The online license activation requires a permanent Internet connection. The copy protection variant is selected during installation or can be implemented later. If the extension of the assurance is confirmed, this will be enabled in the system automatically. The activation period corresponds to the SW-Assurance.
USB copy protection License check follows via USB interface.
